"The money is now available, contracts have been signed, and notices to proceed have been issued, so it's a go," Pingley said. Three of the contracts were awarded to Pro Contracting of Clarksburg. The city received more than $6 million of additional funding from the RUS as part of the Water and Waste Disposal Program. "The biggest impact on the community will be the construction of the raw water line," Pingley said. The completion of the project will take approximately two years once work begins in the spring.
