Route 230 will be closed to through traffic near the Madison-Greene county line on Nov. 15 and 16 as work continues on the Conway River bridge rehabilitation project. The closure is necessary for Virginia Department of Transportation contractor Kanawha Stone Company, Inc. of Nitro, West Virginia to perform excavation work behind the bridge's abutments.
